Shooting For The Branded Furniture Company And Orla Kiely

We were approached by The Branded Furniture Company to shoot stills and video on three different sets in a fast-paced project. Each set was given a colourful design for the equally colourful Orla Kiely sofas and chairs.

Several furniture pieces were shot in each room constructed at our studios by our in-house team. Many of the props were supplied by Orla Kiely to accentuate the brand's recognisable look - a modern twist on mid-century styles. We brought in Beck Hanson from our trusted network of stylists who we've worked with on countless occasions.

With just five hours available per set, our team worked efficiently to capture all of the content needed to complete the videos and shot list.

Set One

This large build played host to a corner sofa and armchair. Our video team show multiple angles of the products in a concise sequence.

Set Two

To save time and budget, this set was an adaption of the first one. Replacement walls were ready to be swapped to reveal the different décor and textures. We used a combination of slow pans and speed ramping to showcase the large sofas in this collection.

Set Three

This set stood separately to the other interchangeable set to allow a quick transition for the final shot list. The video highlights the features of the large sofa, armchairs and footstool. We captured the pieces in a sequence that uses depth of field to shift focus onto key details.

Stills From The Shoot

Here's a selection of the stills across the one and a half days. We collaborated with The Branded Furniture Team to decide on the final window views which were added in post-production. The picture frames were left blank to allow for The Branded Furniture Team to decide on the style after the images were delivered via our client portal.
